place, and L. E. Smith of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Miss Helen Harris of Webster Groves will be the maid of honor and
Will Waggoner the bride's brother, will act as bestman. The six year
old nephew of Miss Waggoner, Blagden Myers, will be ring bearer. A
reception will follow the ceremony, which will be performed by Rev.
Dr. N. Luccock, at which will be present only the relatives and oldest
friends of the family. Miss Waggoner will enter upon the arm of her
father, preceded by the ring bearer, a beautiful boy, wearing a white
suit and carrying a basket filled with white sweet peas, which will
contain the wedding ring. The bride will be gowned in an imported lace
robe, over white chiffon and taffeta. She will carry a shower of white
sweet peas, and will deviate from the conventional by not wearing a
veil. Her sole ornament will be a diamond sunburst, the gift of the
groom. Miss Harris will wear white silk net, over fern green taffeta,
and will carry a shower of ferns dropping to the hem of her gown. Mrs.
Thomas Vickroy, soprano, assisted by Miss Lily Brown pianists, will
sing the bridal hymn during the ceremony. These ladies are both school
friends of the bride. The bride and groom will stand in an alcove, the
back of which will be banked with ferns, and will have palms, making a
conopy overhead, and reaching to a parted curtain of smilax mingled
with sweet peas. The house will be entirely decorated in white sweet
peas and smilax, and this effect will be particularly pretty in the
dining room, where the tables will be lighted with green shaded candles
and strewn with sweet peas. The bride will present Miss Harris, Miss
Vickroy and Miss Brown with pins in the form chased gold wish bones, in
which the initials W. and S. are intermingled. The young couple will
leave Friday on an extensive Northern honeymoon tour, and after May 15
will be at home in Oskaloosa, in the beautiful home just built and
furnished by Mr. Smith for his bride. _______________________.
